Dr. Iliana Dimitriou

Dr. Iliana Dimitriou is a graduate of the Department of Psychology of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and has completed her Doctorate in the United Kingdom. She has worked for the National Health Service (NHS) of England as a Counselling Psychologist, for several years.

She has many years of experience in psychological assessment and therapy and she has worked mainly with multidisciplinary mental health teams (secondary care). She has worked with a variety of mental and emotional difficulties such as: psychological trauma, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and psychosis. In addition to her doctoral training, she has been trained in Eye Movement, Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

In recent years, she has worked as a Specialist Psychologist at the Centre of Psychology and Personal Development at European University of Cyprus (2018-2021) and has worked as a Scientific Collaborator teaching postgraduate trainees of Clinical Psychology (2020).
